Rudolf Linke, Vienna, circa 1890. Hanap or cornucopia on a stand representing a Griffin. Neo-Renaissance style. Enameled silver (Metal). A shower foot supports a fantastic gilded bird on whose head rests the horn-shaped hanap ending in a gilded lion's head with its mouth open. Neo-Renaissance style. Circa 1880 -1900. The inside of the foot and bowl are enameled and decorated. The enamel on the underside of the horn is missing from the mounting between the bird and the horn. Invisible when removed. Dimensions: H 24 x W 22 x D +/- 8cm. Marked RL, A Austrian control mark.
