Vienna, late 19th century.

Our clock is almost identical to the one sold at Mercier & Cie on February 13, 2011, which was sold.
Mercier & Cie notes in its description that this clock is similar to the egg delivered in 1902 by Pierre Karl FABERGÉ to the Duchess of MARLBOROUGH, now in the Russian collection of Viktor VERKSELBERG.
